Vorstand der Universitätsklinik für Psychoanalyse und Psychotherapie in Wien. 1982 Habilitation in Psychiatrie, Psychotherapie und Psychosomatik. Gründerin und Leiterin der “Psychosomatischen Frauenambulanz“ an der Univ.-Klinik für Frauenheilkunde. Über 130 Buch- und Zeitschriftenpublikationen. Sie wurde mit dem Preis der Stadt Wien für Wissenschaft ausgezeichnet. Arbeitsschwerpunkte: Depressionen, neurotische und Borderline-Persönlichkeitsstörungen sowie psychosexuelle Probleme.
