Neue Euthanasie-Gedenk­stätte eröffnet

„Brandenburg/Havel – Eine „aktive Gedenkstätte“ für Euthanasiemorde der National­sozialisten gibt es jetzt auch in der Stadt Brandenburg/Havel. Heute wurde das Museum eröffnet, das auch ein umfassendes Bildungsprogramm anbietet. Nach Angaben der Stiftung Brandenburgische Gedenkstätten haben damit alle sechs speziellen NS-Tötungs­anstalten für psychisch kranke und geistig behinderte Menschen eine Gedenkstätte. Den Krankenmorden fielen mehr als 100.000 Menschen zum Opfer, davon rund 9.000 in Brandenburg/Havel.“
