Philadelphia – Patienten, bei denen die Ärzte Diabetes Mellitus Typ 2 und eine Depression kombiniert behandeln, verbessern ihre Medikamentencompliance, ihre Blutzuckereinstellung sowie ihre Depressionssymptomatik. Insgesamt hatten 60 Prozent der integriert behandelten Personen bessere Blutzuckerwerte und 58 Prozent eine Verbesserung der depressiven Symptomatik im Vergleich mit einer Kontrollgruppe.
