Menschen mit einer psychischen Erkrankung haben das gleiche Recht auf eine häusliche Pflege wie jemand mit einer körperlichen Beeinträchtigung.
Anders als bei letzteren Fällen geht es bei einer ambulanten psychiatrischen Pflege nicht um Hilfestellungen bei grundlegenden Aktivitäten des Alltags wie Körperhygiene, Verbandswechsel etc. sondern um ganz individuelle Bedürfnisse und Organisation.
Die häusliche Pflege kann vom Hausarzt verordnet werden.
