Das emotionale Tief, in das viele nach dem Jahreswechsel stürzen, heißt landläufig Neujahrsblues. Obwohl die Stimmung auf dem Nullpunkt ist, mit einer Depression hat das nichts zu tun.

Die Tage vor und nach Silvester sind eine Zeit der großen Gefühle. „Es ist tatsächlich alles sehr emotional“, sagt Manfred Wolfersdorf, Chefarzt der Klinik für Psychiatrie, Psychotherapie und Psychosomatik des Bezirkskrankenhauses Bayreuth.
