Krankschreibungen wegen Burnout: Steigerung um Faktor 19 in sieben Jahren
„Berlin – Neue Zahlen zu den Krankmeldungen in Deutschland hat heute der Bundesverband der Betriebskrankenkassen (BKK) vorgelegt. Laut der Interpretation des Kassenverbandes haben Arbeitsunfähigkeitsmeldungen wegen Burnout in den vergangenen sieben Jahren um den Faktor 19 zugenommen. In der ICD-10 wird dieser Zustand aber lediglich als Einflussfaktor erfasst, das Syndrom selbst wird nicht als eigenständige Krankheit behandelt. Die Daten beziehen sich daher auf den IDC-Schlüssel Z73 „Probleme mit Bezug auf Schwierigkeiten bei der Lebensbewältigung“.“
