Frauen erhalten häufiger Antidepressiva

„Berlin – Frauen bekommen zwei- bis dreimal häufiger psychotrope Arzneimittel verordnet als Männer. Das geht aus dem Barmer GEK Arzneimittelreport 2012 hervor, der am Dienstag in Berlin vorgestellt wurde. „Im Vergleich zu Männern ist festzustellen, dass Tranquilizer, Antidepressiva und Schlafmittel ohne erkennbare therapeutische Indikation in einer Menge verordnet werden, die auf Dauer zu erheblichen unerwünschten Wirkungen führen kann“, erklärte einer der Autoren der Studie, Gerd Glaeske vom Zentrum für Sozialpolitik der Universität Bremen.“
